HAMILTON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, PART OF THE CENTRAL INDIANA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (CICF) PHILANTHROPIC COLLABORATIVE, APPROVED GRANTS FOR HAMILTON COUNTY NOT-FOR-PROFITS, PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES TOTALING $165,000.
Hamilton County Community Foundation board of directors has approved grants for Hamilton County not-for-profits totaling $165,000. The grants provide unrestricted operating support to organizations aligned with the Foundation’s three community leadership pillars—behavioral health, family and youth empowerment, and inclusive economic growth. These pillars support the mission of the Foundation — to mobilize people, ideas and investment to make Hamilton County a community where every individual has an equitable opportunity to reach their full potential—no matter their place, race or identity.
Some of the organizations receiving support from Hamilton County Community Foundation include:
Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County ($15,000) – The mission of Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County is to support individuals who are elderly, disabled, chronically ill and home-bound by delivering nutritious meals, reducing hunger, improving health and promoting independence.
Same As U ($15,000) –Same As U is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping adults with developmental disabilities live the life they imagine.
Hamilton Heights Education Foundation ($15,000) – provides monetary grants to teachers who initiate classroom instructional proposals that demonstrate a high degree of creativity and instructional enhancement designed to improve student academic achievement.

Funding for this grant round was provided by the endowment fund for Hamilton County, as well as the City of Noblesville Fund, Dale Snelling Blue Ribbon Foundation, Jack Arnold Russell Charitable Fund, Northern Hamilton County Fund, Carmel Endowment Fund and Westfield Endowment Fund.
